Another dark day in Cottingham but no ice. Snowdrops are up everywhere in King George playing fields and all the gardens I pass. It's not a question of warmth for these plants but the lengthening daylight that brings them up. We have snowdrops in pots as best to plant in the green as very difficult to plant snowdrop bulbs and get them to flower.
When will the long range forecast predict warm weather? Come on Spring.
