January maybe a bit early to think of getting on with the garden usually but with the milder weather it's an ideal time for various sorts of planting of wood plants. Clearing falling leaves is still and issue especially with the high winds we've had recently and remember to keep putting out bird food and making sure the bird baths have clean water in.
