Cottingham Day 2014 Saturday 5th of July

A family day with a wide variety of attractions celebrating the fantastic village of Cottingham! There's so much going on in venues across the village as more than 15,000 people are expected for an action-packed day.

COTTINGHAM METHODIST CHURCH
Open to the public, 10am-4pm
Stalls, Refreshments & Lunches, Photographic Exhibition, Photographic Competition, Prayer Stations.

MEMORIAL GARDENS
Candy Floss, Birds of Prey (Holderness Falconry Club), Activities on a Plate.

PARISH COUNCIL OFFICE
Information Point & Lost Children

GRANDAD'S PARK
11am-3pm Dog Show, First Aid Post, Cottingham Rangers, Baby Changing Facilities, Dangerous Steve, DJ Noel, Fair, Karate Club, Poppy Coffee Company, Rainbow Ice Hut, Red Cross Fake Wounds, Scrapstore, Sunflower Day Nursery.

MEMORIAL CLUB
Club Open Day, Motorcycle Club Display & Competitions.

CIVIC HALL
Combined Charities Fair, Light Refreshments.

DARBY & JOAN HALL

ST MARY'S CHURCH
Open to the public, 10.30am-4pm

HALLGATE PRIMARY SCHOOL
Summer Fair 12-3pm, Live Music, BBQ, Donkey Rides, Pimms Tent, Traditional Fairground Rides.

HALLGARTH RESIDENTIAL HOME
Summer Fair for Welfare Fund, Games, BBQ, Stalls, Face Painting.

PLEASE NOTE: The police WILL be enforcing the "No-Drinking Zones" in Cottingham on Cottingham Day.

Due to the road closures of King Street and Hallgate, there will be changes to bus services 60, 60a, 64, 103, 105, 115, X80, 180, 61 and 110. There will be a temporary taxi rank outside Heron on King Street.

Cottingham Day is run through funding from the Parish Council, sponsorship and money raised on the day. The Parish Council wish to thank the following for their donations and cooperation:
